Mailbox

Sandblasted stainless steel, 2004

Photos: Derek McLeod

A mailbox made from heavy gauge stainless steel to resist everything the city can throw at it. It is designed such that the box is as thin as possible (so it does not interfere with my front door opening), scaled so that a magazine can comfortably fit, and shaped such that small postcards are easily reached, hence the large lid.
