A lounge chair which is defined by a sculptural and versatile shell and enveloping interior surface. The lounge is accompanied by an arm version, sofa and office-friendly conference chair. The exterior shell of the chair is created by an upholstered bent-ply shell into which cushions nest. Dramatic bent steel legs provide support while referencing both high modernism and decorative ironwork. The chair is intended for use in residential, hospitality and contract settings – encouraging crossover between these often distinct categories. The lounge looks to the past and future as visual references – aiming for a timeless, astral, spacey feel.
