A built-in bookshelf for the home office of a design professional. The shelf is based on a grid of square and rectangular modules that are arranged in a random pattern. The rectangles appear horizontally or vertically to accomodate art, objects, and oversize publications. The finish is white latex paint which coordinates with the trim in the house, making a very large piece appear light and airy against the wall.
